Freelance Projects

Center for Spiritual Living San Marcos, 2008
A website for the new Center for Spiritual Living located in North County San Diego at the Hampton Inn in San Marcos, CA. Pastor Ron Card came to me in need of a website, and the organization was already prepared with branding guides and design templates from the corporate international center. We worked together to select from a palette of approved brand colors and organized a layout that made sense for what he wanted to accomplish online. Responsible for:

  • XHTML/CSS programming
  • Modified a layout as suggested by the organization to fit the needs of the San Marcos center while still maintaining brand integrity
  • Content load
  • Integrated Google tools: map, calendar

San Diego For Change, 2008
An informational website for San Diego voters, focused on the 2008 Presidential Election. Developed for the Imagine The Good Organization. Responsible for:

  • Design
  • XHTML/CSS Programming
  • Video players: small version on home page, and full version on Videos page
  • Video compression for online use

Florals & Events by Romy, in progress
A website that will showcase the work of floral designer and event/wedding coordinator, Romy Abouni. Client is reviewing website and final content/photos are still being decided upon. Responsible for:

Mercy Care, 2008
An informational website for a non-profit public benefit organization that focuses on assisting accident and trauma victims find affordable medical care. Developed for a San Diego Graphic Design company located in Carlsbad, Accent on Design.
Responsible for:

  • XHTML/CSS programming
  • Design/layout modifications
  • Photo research to make the design relative to this industry

RocWest.Net, 2008 and still in progress
A website for an up and coming t-shirt and poster designer. Responsible for:

  • Helping improve client's previous website design/layout. Reconstructed the page layout and the sizing of products and header graphic.

A personal website for my 2008 wedding. Responsible for:

Youthful Glow Skincare, 2008
A website for a new skincare company specializing in anti-aging skincare solutions. Developed for Accent on Design.

A brochure website about a San Diego Civil Engineering Company. Developed for Accent on Design.

A brochure website about the Alternative Health and Healing Organization. Developed for Accent on Design.

Aviatech, LLC

Play N Trade: Online Holiday Promotion
Play N Trade launched an online ad campaign for the 2008 holiday season. A Pay-Per-Click and Banner Ad campaign was launched that redirects to a landing page that was developed. Responsible for:

  • XHTML/CSS programming
  • PHP Zip Code Locator programming using the Google Maps API to compare the latitude/longitude distances between user's zip code and locations stored in a MySQL database
  • Print Wishlist programming

U.S. Naval Institute, Americans-At-War.com
A Website for the video series, Americans At War, produced by the U.S. Naval Institute and seen on PBS. The videos tell the stories of War Veterans and honors their heroic efforts. Users can post comments, rate videos, and submit their own stories. Responsible for:

  • XHTML/CSS programming
  • Integrating template into a PHP CMS
  • Video compression
  • Flash Video Player

The Allen Group, Corporate website and Dallas Logistics Hub website
Websites for the property development company, The Allen Group. Responsible for:

  • Adding/changing content (Press Releases, News Articles, website edits/updates) using Ektron
  • Updating ASPX pages based on client revisions
  • "Trusted By" animation on the About Us page
  • PDF download icon and "Back to Previous Page" icon
  • Flash home page on corporate website and Flash News Ticker on Dallas website

Along with these websites, I also developed the Flash home page for their website, ITTC.com, and currently developing the rest of their Logistics Park Kansas City website.

A website for Kansas residents and farmers with important agriculture information, forms, and articles. Responsible for:

Metrolink
A website for Metrolink riders. Information on scheduling, events, and promotions. Responsible for:

A website promoting small businesses in the City of Long Beach. Responsible for:

San Diego Workforce's Occupational Outlook Report
Reports occupational data for San Diego annually in a printed book and a cd that is also presented online. Completed under contract with Batiz.com from 2006 to 2007, was responsible for:

  • Loading content via Batiz.com's CMS system
  • Managed the 2006 project, under the supervision of the Creative Director
